Luxury Sentosa Cove condo launched 9 years after TOP
Luxury Sentosa Cove condo Cape Royale launching for sale years after 2013 completion; did not launch for sale due to cooling measures then. Rarely do you hear of condominiums in Singapore that have just been completed launching for sale years later while discussing new launch condos. However, the upscale Sentosa Cove condominium Cape Royale just recently did. The property was finished in 2013, however due to cooling measures at the time, its developers, Ho Bee Land and IOI Properties, did not put it up for sale.
Before it was ultimately inaugurated on July 6 of this year, the project was rented out for nine years. Cape Royale is still the most recent of all the condos in Sentosa Cove. About half of the 50 units that were put up for sale out of the total 302 have already been sold. A three-bedroom apartment can be purchased for between S$3.52 million and S$4.58 million (or between S$1,930 and S$2,437 per square foot). The price of a 4-bedroom property ranges from S$5.33 million to S$6.2 million (S$2,019 psf to S$2,459 psf). Between S$6.2 million to S$11 million ($2,119 to $2,564 per square foot) is the price range for penthouses.

As can be seen, Cape Royale has a median price per square foot of S$2,224, which is around 24% less expensive than the median price per square foot of newly released properties in the CCR, which is S$2,758. It’s vital to keep in mind that Cape Royale’s lease only has 85 years left on it. If you don’t mind this, Cape Royale is a condo that still appears to be spanking new. You don’t have to wait and may move in right immediately, which is another benefit.
Ultimately, those who enjoy living by the sea in the luxury gated enclave of Sentosa Cove and don’t mind driving to mainland Singapore for the majority of their daily activities and necessities may find Cape Royale to be a wise purchase.
